There will be an extra Desert Days sailing departing from Dubai on 3 March 2025, adding 10% more availability to the remaining season.
The cruise will sail on the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey, which returns to service on 15 February 2025 after planned refit work in Dubai..
The Desert Days itinerary departs from either Doha or Dubai and includes visits to Bahrain, Dubai in the UAE (overnight), Khasab in Oman, and Sir Bani Yas Island and Abu Dhabi also in the UAE.
"We’re thrilled by the response to our Arabian Gulf itineraries, which offer guests the perfect blend of iconic landmarks and hidden gems,” said Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal.
“From the impressive skyline of Doha, the dazzling sights of Dubai, to the wildlife haven of Sir Bani Yas Island, there’s even more opportunity to experience the rich history, culture and natural beauty of the region.

The cruise industry is booming in the region, with Dubai becoming a key port, attracting world-class operators, 187 ships and more than 280,000 passengers in 2024, according to Dubai Customs.
In 2024, Celestyal kicked off with its first Arabian Gulf season, also launching a Middle East website to support travel advisors, while Resorts World Cruises launched its inaugural sailing from Dubai with the 1,800-passenger Resorts World One.
The Gulf is also rapidly emerging as a destination for regional sailings and weekend ‘cruise-cations’.
Regional cooperation is also key to the growth of the industry, with the Cruise Arabia Alliance – comprising Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Oman government entities – working together for the betterment of the sector.
