Expeditions will take place across Antarctica, the Arctic, the Pacific and the Indian Ocean
Ponant has announced a new collaboration with The Explorers Club to offer 12 expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic, and in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
The Explorers Club is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of field exploration and scientific inquiry
The week-long expeditions will take sailors to remote destinations, such as the Geographic North Pole and Papua New Guinea.

Yoyages will feature VIP speakers, including circumpolar archaeologists and geoscientists who will share stories from their adventures and the highlights of their research.
Five out of the 12 expeditions planned will feature scientists onboard who will share their findings in glaciology, oceanography and geology.
Guest scientists will also lead research initiatives aboard the Le Commandant Charcot, which also serves as a floating research centre.
