A spokesperson said: “From seals and whales to Emperor penguins and breeding pairs of Adelies, these once-in-a-lifetime expedition voyages are planned around the best of the wildlife calendar. Visits start in November, reaching Antarctica in time to see penguins courting, and continue into December when penguin chicks begin to hatch.
“Excursions are led by one of the up to 20 members on our expert discovery team comprising naturalists, marine biologists and glaciologists. Between landings, guests can top up their wildlife knowledge during enriching presentations and discussions in the impressive onboard theatre and dedicated observation deck.”
