Virgin Voyages to visit 21 new ports in summer 2025

Destinations span Iceland, Italy, Scotland, Ireland and the Caribbean

Virgin Voyages will introduce 21 new ports to its cruise itineraries for summer 2025 across Iceland, Italy, Scotland, Ireland and the Caribbean.

The destinations include Reykjavik (Iceland), Naples (Italy), Dublin (Ireland), Istanbul (Turkey), Porto (Portugal), George Town (Grand Cayman) and Muscat (Oman).

The adult-only cruise line has also unveiled its wave offers for customers. Between now and 31 January 2024, clients can buy one cruise and get 70% discount on a second passenger, plus up to US$600 bar credit, depending on the voyage length.

The tab will be US$600 for cruises of 14 nights or more; US$300 for cruises lasting seven to 13 nights; US$200 for sailings of five or six nights; and US$100 for trips of four nights or fewer.

For summer 2025, Scarlet Lady will sail around Europe, offering a combination of six to 15-night cruises. After travelling around southern Spain, Morocco, Florence, Rome and Mallorca, the ship will return to the brand’s original home in Portsmouth, UK and offer a series of voyages that include Reykjavik, Norway, Bordeaux, Ireland, Scotland and Cannes.

Valiant Lady will continue to sail the brand’s popular four- and five-night Caribbean routes, while incorporating a couple of longer options to Grand Turk and Grand Cayman. 

Resilient Lady (pictured), currently based in Australia and New Zealand, will embark on the long-haul journey back to Athens while stopping in Bali, Singapore, Phuket, Oman, Dubai and Santorini. Once back in Greece, Resilient Lady will sail seven-night cruises while incorporating new 10- and 11-night itineraries that call on Istanbul, Mykonos, Dubrovnik and Crete.
