UAE low-cost carrier launches RAK to Moscow and Abu Dhabi to Yekaterinburg routes
Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest budget carrier operator, has expanded services between the UAE and Russia.
Starting 27 December 2024, a new non-stop service will link Ras Al Khaimah and Moscow with flights three times a week, on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Flights will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing RAK International Airport at 18:20, arriving in Moscow at 23:05. The return service will leave Moscow at 23.55, landing in RAK at 06:25 local time.
The move reflects the growing importance of both Russian tourism in the UAE and the growing reputation of Ras Al Khaimah as a destination.

“This addition reinforces our commitment to offering our passengers affordable and convenient travel options while supporting the growth of tourism and trade between the UAE and Russia,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia.
This announcement follows a new non-stop service linking the UAE capital Abu Dhabi with Yekaterinburg, the fourth-largest city in Russia and a cultural hub considered the Russian capital of street art.
Flights between Zayed International Airport and Koltsovo International Airport operate twice a week on Tuesday and Friday, departing Abu Dhabi at 02:45, arriving in Yekaterinburg at 08:50, with the return service leaving SVX at 09:50, landing back in the UAE capital at 14:10.
Al Ali said: “This milestone demonstrates our commitment to connecting Abu Dhabi with strategic international destinations. Yekaterinburg is a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage, and we look forward to supporting both leisure and business travel between the UAE and Russia.”
Air Arabia flies to eight Russian cities as part of its network of more than 200 destinations across 50 countries.
