The opening marks the group’s Greek debut

Mandarin Oriental has entered the Greek market with the opening of Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino in Messenia.

Drawing “inspiration from local agricultural traditions and the region's rich cultural heritage”, each of the beachfront resort’s 99 suites and villas feature terraces and private pools respectively.

Five restaurant and bar concepts overseen by chef Bertrand Valegeas include the Oliviera Restaurant, which pays homage to local cuisine, and the Tahir Restaurant, focusing on Levantine cuisine.

The Spa reflects the group’s Asian origins and offers a wide range of treatments. Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, a Hammam, cold bath, and herbal sauna.

The resort also has a Fitness Centre and offers a range of water activities including paddleboarding and water skiing at its beach club.

Cultural activities include olive oil tastings, traditional cooking classes and visits to local historical sites.
