Jetcraft insights reveal benefits of private flying
Private jet brokers Jetcraft have found that private flights can save travellers up to 210 hours a year.
Jetcraft’s research aims to promote private aviation to high net worth individuals (HNWIs) whose most valued asset is time.
The sector has seen growth in the wake of the pandemic. As of last year, private flights now account for a quarter of US flights, roughly twice the pre-pandemic share, according to research by consultancy WINGX.
Jetcraft has recently seen a 20% increase in buyers aged under 45, a demographic that flies 19% more on average than older generations, according to the company's research.

According to the company’s latest Market Forecast, Jetcraft clients spend an average of 200 hours flying per year, significantly cutting down travel time by avoiding the delays caused by the inconvenient scheduling, and long wait, transit and transfer times associated with commercial travel.
However, private aviation has been under greater scrutiny in recent years for its proportion of carbon emissions and impact on the environment, which may act as a deterrent for some HNWIs.
