Services will roll our from late October
Qatar Airways will add an eighth daily flight between Heathrow, UK and Doha, Qatar from the end of October, extending the carrier’s weekly services to London to 56 “following strong demand from customers”.
Qatar has also announced increased frequencies between its Doha hub and Miami, Florida in the US, Malé in The Maldives and Tokyo, Japan.
The carrier will operate 12 flights a week to Miami, 28 a week to Malé and 11 a week to Tokyo during the peak winter 2024-25 season.
Male (MLE)
Starting 13 December 2024, Qatar Airways flights to Male (MLE) will increase from 21 to 28 weekly flights. The flights will depart daily from Doha (DOH) to Male (MLE) on flight QR672, departing 01:35 and arriving 08:15. Return flight QR673, will depart 20:15 and arrive 23:10.
Miami (MIA)
Starting 16 December 2024, Qatar Airways flights to Miami (MIA) will increase from 10 to 12 weekly flights, depart every Monday and Wednesday. Doha (DOH) to Miami (MIA) flight QR781: will depart 01:20 and arrive 09:50. Return flight QR782 will depart 23:30 and arrive a day later at the local time of 21:05.

Tokyo (NRT)
Starting 14 February 2025, Qatar Airways' Tokyo service will increase from seven to 11 weekly flights, departing every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Doha (DOH) to Tokyo (NRT) flight QR808 will depart 20:15 and arrive 11:55. Departing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday return flight QR809 will depart 16:25 and arrive 23:10.
London (LHR)
First to launch will be the Heathrow services, starting 27 October 2024, Qatar Airways flights to London (LHR) will increase from 49 to 56 weekly flights. The flights will depart daily from Doha (DOH) to London (LHR) on flight QR109, departing 09:30 and arriving 14:05, returning from London (LHR) to Doha (DOH) on flight QR110, departing 15:30 and arriving 01:10.

Our increased flights during the winter holiday season comes as a response to the needs of our passengers.”
The airline is a joint business partner with BA, which operates two flights a day between Heathrow and Doha. Qatar Airways holds a 25% stake in BA parent International Airlines Group (IAG) and the Qatar Investment Authority owns a 20% stake in Heathrow Airport.
