Qatar Airways to showcase Qsuite Next Gen at ATM

Latest business class offering includes family-friendly Quad Suites

Qatar Airways will showcase the latest iteration of its award-winning business class suites at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in Dubai.

The Qsuite Next Gen was unveiled at the Farnborough International Air Show in July 2024 but this will be its first appearance at ATM, being held 28 April to 1 May 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The innovative Quad Suites create the largest social or productivity space in the sky for groups of up to four, making it suited to families and professionals. Window aisle Companion Suites are for two passengers, while all suites have moveable, 4K inflight entertainment screens which can open up the private suites.

The suites also have enhanced dining space, taller dividers, larger lie-flat and double beds which also benefit from the ‘Make My Bed’ turn-down service at the touch of a button.

Digital controls are also enhanced for passenger preferences, such as ambient lighting and the privacy dividers via an upgraded touchscreen control unit.

The new seats are set to feature onboard the airline’s Boeing B777-9 aircraft this year.

Innovative technology takes centre stage across cabin interiors at Saudi’s new airline Riyadh Air, as “world’s first digital-native airline” prepares to begin operations this year.

Business Elite and Business passengers will be able to experience Devialet’s innovative acoustic technology embedded in headrests, removing the need to wear headphones, and all seats feature 4K OLED touchscreens, with 32-inch monitors in Business Elite (the world’s largest in business).

Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 fleet will carry an identical configuration to make each flight familiar for up to 290 passengers across four cabin classes.

Business travel and technology are key themes at ATM this year, with the launch of a dedicated business events zone IBTM@ATM that recognises the growth in the business events sector, which is predicted to reach US$2.5 trillion by 2035, according to Allied Market Research.

Travel technology exhibitors are up 25%, reflecting the significance of the US$10.7 billion opportunity. Held under the theme Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity, the show will explore how tech is transforming the industry.
