Direct service to commence from late-December 2024
Saudi Arabia's low-cost airline Flynas is set to commence direct domestic flights from King Fahad International Airport in Dammam to Red Sea International Airport.
As of 28 December 2024, two weekly flights will be operated from Dammam – one of the four Flynas operational bases around Saudi – to Red Sea International Airport.
The move is in line with the airline's expansion plan and the national objectives in the aviation sector.

Located in the northwest of Saudi, the Red Sea International Airport serves mega tourism development the Red Sea Project, which is being developed as part of the Saudi Vision 2030.
Since launching in 2007, the Saudi carrier has flown more than 80 million passengers and aims to reach 165 domestic and international destinations by 2030.
Flynas currently connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations with more than 1,500 weekly flights.
