Resort now includes Par 3 Golf Course and Short Game Arena
Somabay Golf has introduced a Par 3 Golf Course and Short Game Arena at The Cascades Golf Resort, Spa & Thalasso in Egypt.
The resort was already home to a Gary Player-designed 18-hole championship course with six holes positioned along the coastline.
The addition of the new facilities elevates the resort's appeal to golfers of all skill levels, providing them with the opportunity to perfect a wider range of shots.

Designed by Tim Lobb and James Edwards, the new course sits at the heart of Somabay’s golfing complex.
A spokesperson for the brand said: "It is a reimagining of the traditional par 3 course. On the course, players can perfect approach shots, allowing both novices and seasoned golfers to elevate their approach game. The course also incorporates floodlights, inviting guests to extend their play time and enjoy a nine-hole round at night."
In addition, the the new 5,000-square-metre Short Game Arena provides 27 different zones for golfers to practice their putting game. Dedicated zones within the arena can also be reserved for professional practice, allowing coaches to oversee clients.
The unveiling of the new facilities comes following The Cascades Golf Resort, Spa & Thalasso at Somabay’s recent recognition at the World Golf Awards, where the resort was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Egypt’s Best Golf Hotel’.
