Sunset Hotels & Resorts to launch METT brand in Bahrain

The 220-key METT Hotel & Residences will be located on Amwaj Beachfront

In 2025, Sunset Hotels & Resorts plans to launch new brands CASA METT and METT Hotel & Residences, as part of its METT brand expansion.

METT Hotel & Residences, in partnership with Esterad Amwaj, will debut in Bahrain. The 220-key METT Hotel & Residences on Amwaj Beachfront will include villas and residences, as well as the brand's Isola Beach club and Raise Fitness gym.

The opening is in line with the company's vision to establish 20 properties under management or operation by 2026, according to a statement from Sunset Hotels & Resorts.

The move follows recent announcements, including the introduction of METT Singapore after assuming management of the city-state's iconic Hotel Fort Canning, and the success of METT Bodrum and METT Marbella – Estepona.

CASA METT – designed to feel like home – will debut in Spain with CASA METT Sitges, and then expand with more locations planned across Europe, the GCC, North Africa and South Asia.
